… and then there’s working… and the aristocracy…
Class. Knowing one’s place. Or not.

I enjoyed reading the poems – but I didn’t understand the prompt and after reading the poems I still don’t understand the prompt – never mind there’s another prompt so perhaps I’ll just shuffle on to that one and ignore this one.
I was thinking upstairs/downstairs kind of thing… I look up to him and he looks down on me…
Working-class, middle-class, upper… and the gradations in between.
Ah – sorry Robbie – I listened to the poem and couldn’t grasp anything from it. Must try harder! After reading the posts here and thinking a bit – I was wondering if technology is going to do away with class … instead perhaps it will be those who text and those who don’t … just thinking out loud. Those who embrace technology and those who don’t. Can you tell a lot about somebody on things like Facebook? I don’t know as I’ve never been on it but perhaps it will be the thing that breaks down class barriers …? Time will tell. Sorry going off the subject entirely.
