Ocean island
one metre above sea level
shrinking as the sea climbs
centimetre by centimetre
up the sand
dwindling the land
beneath the feet
of the islanders.
Soon they will join
the refugee nation.

Love the implication the title gives of money being at the root of man’s downfall… and the topicality of refugees. Again, you’ve captured an enormous amount in very few words – fab!
