I used to write
poems
like
this
about global warming
and cutting down trees.
But now I have learnt
to write them like this:
save the trees/save the forests/save the world.

hello Chris – I agree with Robbie
I am struggling with the title (in Italian it means half so I got a bit carried away with that at first and I do find it very easy to get carried away as you know!) – I’ve looked it up in the dictionary but I’m still not sure (I look a lot of words up) ?
okay – so now I’ve found out that a metapoem is a poem about poetry – I get there eventually!
Sorry to be difficult – I just checked by googling ‘meta’ and it says that it is a creative work that is self -referential. A poem about the way the poem is written .
