With pale blue wings
Seated on my wall
I went right up to it
I observed it
And I even spoke to it
But not a movement
Did it make
It just stayed right there
It remained for ages like this
In observation of this lovely sight
I opened the window
On this night
But in the morning
It was gone
And I never came across
My moth-friend again!
Anne – I am dying to know what is on that tray you are holding in the picture????? Every time I see it I want to brew up and open the biscuit tin.
Burton Marsh cycle ride, Sarah and in the vicinity of the Harp Inn, Park Gate, Neston lies a great little farm cafe named Bet’s CafĂ©, near the duck boarding ( and the army shooting range) and it is well-worth a visit, because their cream teas are out of this world! I believe it is only open in the summer time, so, do not bother to go in the winter time. On that tray is the nicest cream tea you could wish to eat!!
